Water Damage from Above

Water came down from the upstairs and affected this wall and arch way.  The hard wood floors were able to be saved as well.  The paint discoloration is due to the water affecting the wall and building materials.  When drying walls we use a balanced drying system.  We will use air movers, dehumidifiers, and/or wall cavity drying systems. If there is insulation in the wall sometimes the drywall materials have to be removed to get to the insulation but since this is a interior wall there was no insulation present and we were able to dry the structure and reduce replacement costs.
