Water Damaged Book Shelf

We are even able to repair built in furniture.  Water came from the ceiling above and affected this book case.  We were able to dry the wood through a balanced drying system using air movers and dehumidifiers.  As a built in piece of furniture this is distinctive to a home. It would be a shame to remove it.  We took our time and dried the unit and behind the book case.  The book case was then lightly sanded where needed and refinished. This allowed the book case to stay intact.  It is very important to start the drying process as soon as a water intrusion occurs so that things like this can be saved.
